I understand how bold it was to remove the headphone jack and to release valuable on-device space for more tech goodness to enter the iPhone’s chassis.
But after using AirPods and other wireless headphones that I’ve experienced having all kinds of interference while using them, I am a proponent of wired headphones these days. So needing to buy one of these little dongles when I lose one of them — and now carrying so many dongles for my USB-c Macbook — makes me wonder about “the future” as being a place where better thinking has won the day. —JM
