The first O’Reilly Velocity conference was in 2008. Key takeaways are Mayer’s four key elements in a search experience:
- Comprehensiveness
- Relevancy
- User Experience
- Speed
This reminded me how we used to see the search speed easily visible on a google search
… and that’s still the case even now, but a little less prominent.
Lastly, this is my favorite slide that reads, “Compression is your friend.”
