Svelte and Virtual DOM overhead

I’m trying out Svelte and it feels really small, simple, and good. That means it’s likely not nearly as powerful as anything else out there — but nowadays I think that these kinds of systems are super useful for experimentation. Their central thesis is that the Virtual DOM has a performance penalty does have overhead. That makes complete logical sense, and it was fun to read all the shade on it. —JM
