Kinesis Savant Foot Pedals Reprogramming

Okay. I had to relearn this today.

1. If you have a unit that is waterproof, you’ll need to unplug the unit, hold one pedal down, and then replug the unit. It will appear as a flash drive.
2. If you have a new pedals.txt, then you’ll want to just copy it into the flash drive as it appears on the desktop and then unplug and replug.

I wanted to connect my key binding for superwhisper into my pedals. I used control shift B and this is how it looks. Note that you have to put curly braces around the pedal for which you want to map something more than just one singleton key.
