Hanging out with Automattic Design colleague we came to the realization that for him, an Italian, “Paolo” is completely different than “Pablo.” And he noted that “Jeff” and “Jack” sound similar to him.
To Davide, the name “Paolo” is *completely* different from “Pablo.” Whereas to myself, I think of them as visually similar. So I get stuck in trying to figuring out which one I’m referring to.
In the same vein, when Davide hears “Jeff” and “Jack” they sound similar to him. OMG this is an amazing moment I want to hold on to, for now.
