git on Mac, or “Git it?”

Remember to fix the fact that the Mac creates invisible files. So use this set of instructions to fix it.

find . -name .DS_Store -print0 | xargs -0 git rm -f --ignore-unmatch

then be sure to add this to your .gitignore

echo .DS_Store >> .gitignore
